honestly, i love it whenever im back home in the philippines. the surroundings people and vibe is just so full of happiness. if i could id visit every year. this picture is of my cousins nieces and nephews of my mom side. i rarely get to see them. the last time i seen them before now was 6 years ago and before that it was 10 years ago. i dont get to see this much kids in my dads side since theyre all grown up. it makes me sad that i cant see my moms side as much as i like to. despite not full growing up with them i still have so much love for them. the little ones make me so happy. i love being around them in general. i know life in the philippines is so difficult but despite that they still manage to live everyday with a smile on their face. which makes me realize how blessed iam of what i have in my life. this side of the family means so much to me as well as my dads side but i feel like i have a better connection with this side. if i was able to i would give back so much to my homeland, to make it more of a beautiful place. these past 3 weeks have opened my eyes to so much things. this trip has shown me that it isnt about the materialistic things. shown me that family can get closer than it was before. i love everything about the philippines. its where i was born, my homeland. <333 like the saying it truly is better in the philippines.
